Apex Court Chambers lawyers undertake pro bono work on a wide range of issues. We have close links with a number of Pro Bono organisations. Our lawyers are regularly involved in providing legal advice and representation on a pro bono basis (i.e., without charge) for the benefit of individuals and organisations who might otherwise be unable to access legal assistance.
We encourage and support our members to contribute their skills to a wide range of charities and community activities. Members of the firm often act as charity trustees or school governors.
We are keen to establish links with the academic teaching of law. Partners of the firm are often invited by leading universities to take voluntary classes in the law departments. The firm provide internships to students through placement schemes operated by several well-known public and private universities of the country.
